Buy goat fuss feed

early day go pray

return greet steel nerves

knife throat slit blood

tie hang remove skin

cut meat pieces small

cook eat distribute

day long celebrate

It made me laugh.

Somehow, by reducing the well-known and respectable event to the simplest language, you've also managed to show it as it is- reduced to the meaningless routine it has become. The language shorn of any adornments does the same to what is being described- quite an original experiment I'd say, not sure if there are literary parallels to this.

I wasnt sure about posting this at first but when I read it over n over again, it did seem to have a ring to it. I dont know about literary parallels, I was curious too. Maybe if there is something like poetry in pidgins, that would be it I guess. Must try more of this ;)
